I regard ceramic vases, one of the oldest typology of objects in human history, as also one of the closest objects to the humankind not only in the terms of our lifestyle, but in its inherent characteristics as an object.

The way each vases are crafted and “born”, the contoured form, their natural and unique beauty all suggest vases as a highly personified group of objects. These “characters” (as they are as if once lived in the past) are now almost a symbol of ancient cultures, playing the role of witness to the past, or trace of experience as they have survived the test of time.

The valuable connection which i draw between the vases and hair is in that both objects are “containers” of complex level and that they both reveal about the past - the history and the experience at an intimate level.
